Howard Tech Council Announces New Board Members

Columbia, MD (August 12, 2014) –The Howard County Economic Development Authority today announced the selection of eight new members for the Howard Tech Council (HTC) Advisory Board.  The new members join the board officers and eight (8) current board members in leading the HTC, located at the Maryland Center for Entrepreneurship, the epicenter for technological innovation in Howard County and Central Maryland.

New board members are Paul Skalny, Davis Agnor Rapaport and Skalny; Gloria Jacobovitz, Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory; Josh Weszka, Vision Financial; Ryan Barbara, Unleashed Technologies; Bari Anderson, Watkins Meegan; Jeff Huegel, AT&T; Patty Keeton, Howard Community College; and Arsham Mirshah, Webmechanix.

Returning advisory board members for 2014-2015 include: Chairman – Emmet Tydings, Chair, AB&T Telecom; Chuck Bubeck, Vice-Chair, Ease Technologies; Anthony Raley, Silicon Valley Bank; Steve Navarro, R2i; Scott Adelman, Next Level Technology; Mia Eglinton, Jones Lang LaSalle; Jason Taule, FEI Systems; and Wendy Baird, Insight 180.

“It is a tremendous privilege to be a part of the inspiring work being done by the Howard Tech Council,” said Emmet Tydyings, HTC Advisory Board Chair. “From our Howard County Chief Information Security Officer Initiative, to the many roundtables, affinity groups and networking events the HTC supports, the organization is making significant contributions to the business community and I fully expect our new board members to help us build on that momentum.”

HTC Advisory Board members serve three year terms.
