The Office of Workforce Information and Performance invites you to a webinar titled “An Introduction to Labor Market Information: Understanding & Using Labor Statistics”.  The webinar is scheduled for Thursday, February 9, 2012 from 1:30 pm -3:00 pm.

Have you ever wondered what type of workforce information is available, and just what do all those numbers mean, anyway?

This webinar is intended to familiarize participants with basic labor statistics using Maryland’s LMI website as a guide.  Attendees will learn about standard labor market information produced by state LMI offices and where to find Maryland data.  LMI terminology will be explained, and tips on interpreting the numbers will be provided.
