Kwasi Holman has an expansive and professional background in business and economic development, banking, small business turnaround, legislative affairs, policy analysis and marketing. He is currently the President and CEO of the Prince George’s County Economic Development Corporation (PGEDC), a non-profit organization whose mission is to develop, implement and evaluate programs and initiatives intended to foster the industrial, economic, commercial growth and expansion and revitalization of Prince George’s County. Before joining PGEDC, he operated his own consulting company, The Holman Group, and served as Director of Business Development for the National Capital Revitalization Corporation, where he managed the Economic Development Finance Corporation.
Previously, Mr. Holman was President and CEO of the New York Avenue Development Corporation; Executive Vice-President of the District of Columbia Chamber of Commerce; Executive Director of the Ellington Fund; Senior Vice-President of the National Bank of Washington; and Executive Director of the District of Columbia Office of Business and Economic Development.
