Join us for the 2008 MEDA Annual Economic Development
Conference June 1-3 at Hyatt Regency - Chesapeake Bay
in the City of Cambridge, Dorchester County. This year
MEDA considers the people who make Maryland what it
is and addresses the issues of most importance to us
as economic developers. Workforce, environment, quality
of life will be highlighted.
There's a reason why Maryland was selected to be home
to the federal government and it's contract service
companies. Hear from the experts who know what makes
Maryland special:
- Governor Martin O'Malley
- Jim Perdue, Principal, Perdue Farms, Inc.
- Paul Reed Smith of PRS Guitars
- Anthony Principi, former U.S. Secretary of Veteran
Affairs, Director of the BRAC Commission
- Anirban Basu returns for his interesting look at
Maryland's economy
- Panel sessions on: A&E Districts, Environmental
Stewardship, Education and Workforce
- Governor O'Malley's Cabinet Secretary panel Q&A
Before we get down to business on Monday, join us on
Sunday for fun and informative events such as:
