The Chesapeake Basic Economic Development Course provides an introduction to the fundamentals of economic development. The course if designed to prepare participants for the challenges they face in the practice of developing communities.

Accredited by the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), the Chesapeake Basic Economic Development Course meets the professional development requirements for economic development certification. The Maryland Economic Development Association (MEDA) is pleased to offer this five-day course for all who wish to further their careers by advancing their skills and knowledge in the field.

*Cancellation/Refund Policy: All cancellations must be received in writing. All cancellations received prior to July 1 will be refunded less a $25 administrative fee. On or after July 1, no refunds will be issued. Any registered attendee who does not submit a cancellation and does not attend the meeting is required to pay their balances in full.
