We help organizations of all types use world class techniques\, such as lean and six sigma\, to build competitive capability. \nWe look forward to having you join us for our morning “mini-conference” where you will find examples\, case studies\, and informative discussions about the tools and methods of continuous improvement. Get ready to network with learners and leaders of the local Lean community! \nMember Presentation led by Greg Platt\, Vice President\, Manufacturing Operations; Leonardo DRS/RADA Technologies \nGreg Platt\, Stephen Tyler and Dan Lutz  will share their real-life experience adopting 3P and explain why they chose a 2P focus on the process vs product design. Business results and photos will be shared along with Q and A.  \nKeynote Presentation:\nMaria Elena Stopher\, President\, ULTIMATE LEAN\, INC. \nTopic:  3P – Production\, Preparation\, and Process \n \nMs. Maria Elena Stopher is a leading expert on Lean Enterprise who has led numerous business process reengineering engagements for a wide variety of federal government and private sector clients.  Early in her career\, she worked at the National Institute of Standards and Technology helping to build the MEP program leaving there to serve as Director of Product Development for the Lean Enterprise Institute.  Her consulting firm\, ULTIMATE LEAN INC.\, has served clients such as the U.S. Housing and Urban Development (USHUD)\, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA)\, USDA\, and the United States Air Force as well as notable commercial clients such as Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics\, Astra Zeneca\, Perdue Farms\, State Farm Insurance. \nMaria Elena’s presentation will provide an overview of 3P (The Production Preparation Process). 3P is a powerful means of taking a big-picture look at how a product is designed and manufactured. It guides teams through the creative process of generating ideas\, and then whittles the ideas down to one that will be implemented. \nThis overview will answer more in depth on what 3P is\, the process\, the benefits\, and several examples. A 3P project can focus on either the process or product design or both. \nAGENDA \n8:00 am     Networking & Continental Breakfast \n9:00 am     Program Begins \n9:10 am     Leonardo DRS Presentation \n10:00 am   Networking/Break \n10:15 am   Maria Elena Stopher Presentation \n11:45 am   Questions/Networking \nNoon          Program Ends
