SUMMARY:Maryland MEP Training Event: Exceptional Leader Training - Baltimore
DESCRIPTION:Description \n\n\n\nThe Exceptional Leader program is a high-impact\, comprehensive\, six month leadership mastery program geared toward established and emerging leaders and is ideal for supervisors\, managers\, and project managers. This program is designed to upgrade the management skills of leaders and dramatically increase their effectiveness. \nParticipants will meet twice each month from 2:30 – 5:00 \nTopics include: \n\nModule 1: Time management and productivity\nModule 2: Leadership coaching skills and performance management\nModule 3: Engaging and recognizing employees\nModule 4: Crucial conversations and communication in the workplace\nModule 5: Effective delegation\, holding people accountable and driving consistent results\nModule 6: Leading at a higher level\n\nThis program has proven to be successful because the leaders have an opportunity to learn over the course of six months rather than all at once. This allows your leaders to go away each month and implement new skills deliberately and get the support they need along the way. Our program includes homework and accountability to ensure your leaders are applying their learning. This is truly an active and participatory workshop rather than a class where leaders are just learning principles and theory. \nSession Dates \n\nPlanning & Productivity – March 14\, 2017\nPlanning & Productivity – March 28\, 2017\nCoaching & Developing – April 11\, 2017\nCoaching & Developing – April 25\, 2017\nEngaging Employees – May 9\, 2017\nEngaging Employees – May 23\, 2016\nCrucial Conversations – June 13\, 2017\nCrucial Conversations – June 27\, 2017\nAccountability & Results – July 11\, 2017\nAccountability & Results – July 25\, 2017\nLeading at a Higher Level – August 8\, 2017\nLeading at a Higher Level – August 22\, 2017\n\nCost \n$2\,500\n**This training is eligible for MD MEP’s Incumbent Worker Funding! SUMMARY:Maryland MEP Training Event: ISO 14001 TRAINING
DESCRIPTION:Description \n\n\n\nEnvironmental management systems based on the international ISO 14001 standard help organizations systematically identify\, measure and manage their environmental impacts. Among some of the benefits of implementing these systems are improved communications; improved efficiency; reduced costs; and increased consistency of results. An EMS also helps to overcome barriers to organizational change; increases top management participation and involvement in day-to-day activities; and helps to resolve and prioritize organizational issues. Organizations that have implemented EMSs have noted improvements in their environmental regulatory compliance; environmental awareness\, involvement\, and competency throughout the organization; and in their relationships with environmental regulators. \nIntended Audience: Decision Makers\n \nCost: $35 per person
