DESCRIPTION:Host: St. Mary’s County Economic Development Department \nLocation: AeroPark Innovation District \nThis is an invitation-only event.  \nThe Business Walk provides a close up view of the current\, new\, and future assets at the AeroPark Innovation District. The tour starts with the Southern Maryland Autonomous Research and Technology\, or SMART Building. The newly-opened facility features a Matrix lab with an indoor flight facility\, a circulating water channel\, and a ground robotics laboratory. \nThe AeroPark Business Walk includes new building sites housing technology and manufacturing companies. The innovative approach blends contemporary office space with high clearance for functional and flexible work space. Highlights include: aviation and testing projects at Pax Aero; the ABSI Defense high altitude motor glider; explorations of TechPort and the UMD Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Test Site.
