Elizabeth Stahlman

Elizabeth Stahlman is the Community Development Director for the City of Frostburg who works with residents, entrepreneurs and existing or prospective businesses with the goal of improving the quality of life for those who live and work in Frostburg.

Elizabeth believes that with strong leadership, a clear vision for the future, and a commitment to the interests of citizens and businesses, a community, despite its challenges, can grow and prosper.

Elizabeth secured funding and the support to have the first University-based Target Industry Analysis and Marketing Plan prepared for Frostburg. Additionally, she has worked on several community development and infrastructure projects, most recently in the Braddock Road Corridor, which when complete will include road infrastructure upgrades, sidewalks and bike lanes, and mixed-use redevelopment directly across from the campus of Frostburg State University. Together, these improvements will serve as a modern gateway to the historic City of Frostburg, while providing new opportunities for economic growth.

Elizabeth was the recipient of the Western Maryland Jaycees Outstanding Young Professional Award in 2017. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Frostburg State University.
