About the 2012 MEDA Project & Program Winners

The Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development received the award for Arts District Hyattsville as the Economic Development Project winner.  The developers for this project were EYA and Stret Sense.

The Eastern Shore Entrepreneurship Center and Mid-Shore Regional Council received an honorable mention for Hooper Island Oyster Aquaculture Company in the Economic Development Project category.

The Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development received the award for Union Mill in Baltimore as the Redevelopment Project award winner. The developer for this project was Seawall Development Corporation.

Frederick County’s Largest Agricultural Classroom was given the Economic Development Marketing Award. The project was nominated by the Frederick County Business Development and Retention Division.
