MEDA Young Leaders are invited to Zekiah Ridge Farm & Flowers (Bliss in the Barn) located at 11770 Charles St, La Plata, MD 20646, for the 2023 MEDA Young Leaders Agricultural Lunch & Learn on Tues., July 18, 11:00 AM.
Starting with a welcome and introductions, learn about the farm’s history and current operations from Cindy Bliss, followed by insights into Charles County’s zoning and business development efforts for farms and agriculture. Take a scenic Farm Walk and indulge in a delicious lunch before a brief presentation on Charles County Land Preservation or Explore Charles County. At the end of the event, unleash your creativity and build your own bouquet while networking with other participants.
The cost is $40 and includes lunch and the bouquet.
