Where: Hyatt Regency, Chesapeake Bay, Cambridge, Maryland

Theme: Ready for What’s Next

Building the skills, strategies, and connections to lead economic development forward. Economic development is changing quickly. New technologies, shifting community priorities, workforce transitions, and increasing demands on professionals are reshaping how the work gets done. Ready for What’s Next focuses on the practical skills economic developers need to navigate change, lead effectively, and continue delivering results.

Sessions would explore practical applications of AI, communicating through conflict, managing competing community priorities, developing the next generation of leaders, strengthening succession pipelines, and building personal and organizational resilience. Attendees at every career level should leave with new ideas, useful tools, and strategies they can put to work immediately.
