From Capital to Community Impact

How do financing tools help bring economic development projects to life? Join Jessica Hanmer, Director of Economic Development Lending at LISC, for an interactive discussion on community development finance, small business lending, and the role of capital in supporting economic growth. Jessica will share examples from LISC’s work across the country, followed by a moderated conversation and audience Q&A exploring practical lessons for economic development professionals.

Jessica Hanmer supervises commercial and small business portfolios, while keeping the LISC’s local offices, CDFI partners, and other stakeholders informed of the organization’s programs. She raises grant funding for credit enhancement and directs quarterly and annual compliance reporting for LISC small business grant funds. Jessica has a MA in public administration from George Washington University, an MS in real estate development and finance from George Mason University in addition to a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Boston University.
