RMI Event: How Virtual & Augmented Reality (VR & AR) is Used in Manufacturing 4.0 Environments

  • This event has passed.

Virtual and Augmented Reality are quickly becoming critical pieces of technology in the design, training and life cycle of manufacturing facilities and processes. Learn the difference between Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) and how these technologies are used in 4.0 manufacturing environments. Examples will be presented, and you will have an opportunity to experience both technologies and immerse yourself in a manufacturing VR experience. Presenter: Hadar Silverman, Earthborn Interactive.

Hadar Silverman has practiced in the field of architecture for over ten years, and has been involved with Virtual and Augmented Reality content creation since 2013.  As he continues to help build the bridge between physical and virtual worlds,  he has demonstrated VR/AR to thousands of people including exhibitions at the Smithsonian American Art Museum and is a published author in the field of VR content design and testing.  Hadar founded Earthborn Interactive (EBI) in 2012 providing interactive media services to architects, educators, and engineers.  His current development in the field of process virtualization is leveraging the power of virtual reality to lower the barrier-to-entry for design production & skills training.  Earthborn Interactive’s VR/AR solutions create an affordable and accessible path to an agile workforce as well as lean manufacturing life cycles.
