Join TU President Kim Schatzel and business leaders from across the region for this year’s Economic Outlook Forum. The discussion will focus on building, scaling, and sustaining a true entrepreneurship ecosystem in Maryland.

TU Regional Economic Studies Institute Chief Economist Daraius Irani, Ph.D., presents an in-depth look at the state of our economy and how current economic and political forces impact our region.

Entrepreneurship in Maryland

R. Michael Gill, Secretary, Maryland Department of Commerce, will discuss how Maryland’s strong economy and commitment to an educated workforce supports the growth of an entrepreneurship ecosystem.

The Forum

From tax credits and grants to incubators and incentive zones, fostering entrepreneurship has become a core component of economic development across our state. Panelists will discuss the challenges and potential solutions.
