Communications Manager (Remote)
The Manager, Communications will lead the Community Development Department’s marketing and communications strategies and initiatives, inclusive of conducting digital outreach and engagement activities to promote the organization and increase partner engagement. The Manager, Communications is also responsible for designing, executing, and management of media campaigns that align with the organization’s goals, and maintaining a strong online voice and brand in print and social media outlets.
The Manager, Communications, reports to the Director, Community Development, and works with internal and external stakeholders. The Manager, Communications is responsible for working with all Employ Prince George’s (EPG) divisions, departments, contractors, and programs to lead EPG and the Prince George’s County American Job Center Community Network. The Manager, Communications supervises the Communications Specialist, as well as manages assigned contractor and vendor relationships. This position is exempt.
