REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY AND ACTION PLAN

The City of Bowie is seeking a consultant (or consultants or team) with expertise and experience in economic development research and planning, public policy analysis and development, economic analysis, fiscal analysis, and industry, labor force and commercial real estate trends analyses. Previous experience in the Greater Washington and Baltimore Metropolitan Regions and comparable municipal jurisdictions throughout the nation is preferred (but not mandatory). The successful offeror should be innovative, data driven and position the City to grow its commercial tax base and revenues, attract a dynamic workforce, and improve the quality of life for residents.
