CEcD Certification
Mentorship
The MEDA Mentorship Program is a structured, one-year program designed to foster professional growth and collaboration among Maryland’s economic development community. This program connects experienced professionals with emerging leaders, creating mutually beneficial relationships that provide guidance, fresh perspectives, and career development opportunities.
Study Materials
MEDA’s Professional Development Committee has arranged a “library” of IEDC manuals for use by any MEDA member who is preparing for the CEcD exam. To borrow the manuals, contact the MEDA office at 410-347-1246.
Recertification
Recertification courses are a significant feature of MEDA’s overall professional development plan. To that end, we work with universities and others to provide more opportunity for recertification credits for those who hold the CEcD designation. The courses are not limited to those who are CEcD and will be made available to all MEDA members. Always working to improve your member benefits, the MEDA Executive Committee will offer professional development courses throughout the year. For detailed course descriptions and accommodation information, click on the link for each course or visit www.iedconline.org.
