Every year, the MEDA Annual Conference Silent Auction opens the doors to skills development and the breadth of opportunities available within this professional pathway. Proceeds from the auction benefit the Lofton Scholarship Fund, which MEDA members can access to pay for approved professional development courses.  There is also an opportunity to make direct contributions to both the Lofton Fund and the Rhonda Ray Scholarship, which supports educational advancement within economic development, public policy, or related fields.

Over the past 18 years, gift baskets, tickets to local events, and special outings have raised essential scholarship support. In an era of tight budgets, these funds make it possible for aspiring and current professionals to enhance their credentials and deepen their knowledge within economic development, public policy, or related fields.
