Attila Security on NIAP In-Evaluation Product List

Attila Security, a trusted leader of cyber security solutions for government agencies and commercial enterprises, today announced its award-winning GoSilent platform is now listed by the National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP) and pending NIAP Common Criteria validation for 2 protection profiles: Stateful Firewall and VPN Gateway. GoSilent originally emanated from the National Security Agency (NSA) to meet the agency’s Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) strict performance and security guidelines. Today, GoSilent is protecting mission critical intellectual property and data worldwide for public and private sectors and is playing an important role in securing the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) supply chain.

About Common Criteria and NIAP

Government agencies, their third-party suppliers and small to medium size enterprises often turn to commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) IT solutions due to their flexibility, availability and affordability compared to custom solutions. NIAP is responsible for ensuring these IT products meet the manufacturer’s claims for security features and capabilities and conform to the international Common Criteria Evaluation and Validation Scheme (CCEVS). In order to ensure strict compliance with the specified technology protection profiles, NIAP uses neutral, third-party product test laboratories. Attila has been working with Acumen Security, a NIAP-approved laboratory, and its GoSilent Client and GoSilent Virtual Server are now included in the U.S. NIAP In-Evaluation Product List. A complete list of all NIAP-certified products, products in evaluation and corresponding conformance claims can be found at https://www.niap-ccevs.org/Product/PINE.cfm.

An Emerging Leader in Portable IP Security

Attila is a leading provider of Top Secret (TS) secure portable IP communications. With its award-winning GoSilent, which protects from advanced cyber threats, Attila continues to lead in the advancement of portable security. Government and enterprise networks are growing larger and more complex, and as new technologies are introduced fundamental security issues often arise. For classified government networks and data, it is critical that security products are easy to install and use. Attila’s NIAP-listed products, GoSilent Client and GoSilent Virtual Server (GSSv), establish secure connectivity and data integrity, both of which are fundamental to government users, and may be set-up and deployed quickly by even non-technical users.

“Attila is committed to the development of zero-touch, flexible endpoint security solutions that address some of the biggest security challenges facing both enterprise and government agencies today.” said Jay Wantz, VP of Engineering for Attila Security.
