Farm to Fork Event Offers a Taste of Locally Produced Food from Anne Arundel County

Annapolis, Maryland – (May 9, 2016) – Historic Londontown & Gardens will be the site for the May 19 Farm to Fork event which highlights locally produced food from some of Anne Arundel County’s certified Environmental Stewardship Restaurants.

The event, which runs from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., includes participating restaurants such as Killarney House, Lures Bar & Grille, Blackwall Hitch, Azure, Herrington on the Bay, Soul, Skippers Pier, BAROAK and Rutabaga Craft Juicery.   Chesapeake Brewing Company and Great Frogs Winery will sample and sell beer and wine.

Guests can enjoy the view of the South River and stroll along the garden trails while sipping and savoring a taste of Anne Arundel County’s finest food and cuisine.  Doug Day will provide the evening’s musical entertainment.

The event is hosted by the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation which manages the Restaurant Stewardship program. The program is a join initiative of Anne Arundel County and the City of Annapolis.
