New Application Deadline for USDA Rural Business Development Grant
USDA Rural Development is extending the application deadline for the Rural Business Development Grant Program.
Letter of Intent Deadline:
Monday, February 5, 2018 – 4:30 p.m.
New Application Deadline:
Monday, April 30, 2018 – 4:30 p.m.
Complete applications must now be received by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, April 30, 2018 to compete for FY2018 funding. Letters of Intent (LOIs) are still due Monday, February 5, 2018. USDA will provide feedback on LOIs submissions by Tuesday, February 20, 2018.
The Rural Business Development Grant Program funds “Rural Business Enterprise Projects”, which benefit specific small and emerging businesses in rural areas, and “Rural Business Opportunity Projects”, which promote sustainable economic development in rural communities. Eligible applicants include rural public entities including non-profit corporations, municipalities, state agencies, institutions of higher education, and more.
