TEDCO Unveils Redesigned Website Alongside MyTEDCO Portal to Better Serve Maryland’s Entrepreneurial Community

New design and portal aim to give entrepreneurs access to resources, programs and funding opportunities through a more reliable, intuitive and efficient gateway

COLUMBIA, Md., (November 5, 2026) — TEDCO, Maryland’s economic engine for technology companies, announces the release of the MyTEDCO portal alongside a newly designed website. Developed with entrepreneurial feedback, the new portal aims to offer more intuitive navigation for entrepreneurs.

“In recent years, we found that navigating TEDCO’s resources became inefficient as the organization grew,” said Geyssel Gonzalez, TEDCO’s chief financial and technology officer. “The MyTEDCO portal was created address this. Offering a central hub for TEDCO programs, initiatives, opportunities and resources; we are hopeful that this solution will provide a streamlined, convenient approach for innovators across the state.”

Both projects included input from those who need the tool most – entrepreneurs. After thorough focus groups featuring business leaders, researchers and other interested parties from across the state, the team embraced the need for a website redesign and central portal for TEDCO’s programs.

“We are excited to offer the Maryland entrepreneurial ecosystem a more efficient gateway to all the resources, funding opportunities, connections and programs that TEDCO offers,” said DeJonna Farrar, TEDCO’s assistant director of Digital Marketing & Communications. “The entire process was focused on the entrepreneurial journey. We listened to several focus groups, took note of the biggest pain points and worked with the Square360 team to reimagine how TEDCO presents to the public.”

To tackle the redesign, the TEDCO team put out a request for proposals, asking design companies across the state and beyond who were interested in collaborating to respond.

“A website should do more than look polished. It should make it easy for visitors to find information, connect with an organization and access the resources they need,” said Nancy Smullen, founder and co-creative director of Square360. “The redesigned site improves navigation and access to resources while creating a stronger digital experience for Maryland’s entrepreneurial community.”

Square360, a branding and digital design agency that helps design and develop websites, brand identities and user experience for business organizations across all industries in the United States. TEDCO’s partnership with Square360 to redesign the website focuses on improved navigation and accessibility to resources for Maryland’s innovative ecosystem.

“For many entrepreneurs, our website is the front door to TEDCO. It’s where they find the funding, programs and connections to grow,” said Tammi Thomas, president of TEDCO. “Plus, with the rapid growth of TEDCO in recent years, paired with Maryland’s top talent, access to world-class resources and a community of collaboration that uplifts innovation at every turn, we are hopeful these updates will empower founders, support continued economic development and enable us to continue bringing Maryland to the global market.”
