Economic Development Week highlights forward momentum in Maryland
Statewide economic initiatives to be spotlighted from October 26-31
Baltimore, Maryland – The Maryland Economic Development Association (MEDA), in partnership with counties and municipalities throughout the state, announces its fourth annual Economic Development Week. Held from Sunday, October 26 through Friday, October 31 this year, Economic Development Week spotlights the initiatives improving business retention, job growth and the overall quality of life for Maryland’s citizens.
The MEDA Fall Conference & Showcase kick off the festivities on October 26 at Rocky Gap in Cumberland. Highlighting Maryland’s momentum as a manufacturing powerhouse, the event begins with a Manufacturing Showcase at 1 p.m., featuring Maryland-made products, food, and networking. The MEDA Fall Conference will deepen the dialogue among industry professionals on October 27 as we explore Maryland’s manufacturing sectors on the move. Pacesetters throughout the industry will share game-changing opportunities within the global economy.
