BGE Green Grants Program
Now in its 13th year, the BGE Green Grants program provides grants from $2,500 to $10,000 to support environmental stewardship projects led by local nonprofit organizations. Since 2013, the program has awarded more than $2.6 million to hundreds of community‑based projects.

BGE Community Safety Grants Program
Now in its third year, the Community Safety Grants program builds on the legacy of BGE’s former Emergency Response and Safety Grants program. Over the past 13 years, BGE’s safety‑focused grant programs have collectively provided more than $3.5 million to 671 community safety and emergency response initiatives.
In 2026, grants ranging from $2,500 to $10,000 are available to eligible nonprofit organizations working in one or more of the following focus areas:
- Community Placemaking
- Safe Space Support
- Community Emergency Response and Resilience Building
