Food plays an integral part of Film Feastival as this is a kickoff event for Howard County Summer Restaurant Weeks. This year we will not just have restaurants selling samples of their food but also food trucks! It is a great opportunity to taste all the flavors of Howard County.

Farmers’ of Howard County will be available so that you may purchase locally grown fresh and flavorful products from our own farms. The film for this year’s event is “Forgotten Farms.” It is the real-life story of New England Dairy Farms and talks about the challenges they face with today’s dairy industry. These same challenges are what our Howard County family owned dairies face each day and the struggle they must continue the family farm. It is a must-see film. In between the two showings there will be a panel discussion of the film. This year there will be a $5 charge for each seating of the film.
