Regional public and private industry partners launch the Relief Program Eligibility Wizard to help businesses navigate federal and state financial relief programs in response to COVID-19.
COLUMBIA, MD (April 8, 2020) – As part of a continued response to the impacts of COVID-19, Howard County Economic Development Authority has collaborated with industry partners, business leaders, and statewide organizations to produce an online tool that allows businesses to more easily identify the state and federal relief resources that they may be eligible for. The Relief Program Eligibility Wizard provides a regularly updated one-stop destination for businesses navigating the ever-evolving financial relief programs that are available.
Through a short series questions, the Relief Program Eligibility Wizard identifies which State and Federal programs a business is eligible for and subsequently provides information on the application processes for those programs.
In collaboration with legal, financial, and human resource subject matter experts (SMEs), the team will continue to monitor federal and state resources and update the Relief Program Eligibility Wizard as new programs become available and existing programs change in availability.
Partners and contributors include: Howard County Economic Development Authority, Mindgrub, BTS Software Solutions, Maryland Department of Commerce, Howard County Chamber of Commerce, Maryland Tech Council, Maryland Chamber of Commerce, IBM, and various industry SMEs including KatzAbosch, Capital Services, and Offit Kurman Attorneys at Law.
